This is Mario Balotelli in a Stone Island campaign. His celebrations and goals as well as the urban legends which surrounded him in a city that is always so high on football were what made him great when he played for Man City. It proved to be too much for him I think, too much limelight but I always enjoyed watching play or hearing him talk. Doesn't get more Italian than Stone Island either.

Kanye West is someone that I feel only ever gets viewed from a lens of right this instant. I decided to write about him with a longer view and it in a lot of ways justified my enjoyment of his work and some of his personality. No one is all good and he's not a saint but there's definitely reasons behind things.

I really like the visual results of scanning things in. There's something lo-fi about it which adds something. Anyway, I took three of my favourite jackets and scanned them in and put them in the magazine.
